Skipping is an exercise where there is lot of pressure on the knee so it is better in case of young till the bones are fused as they can absorb shocks better and in case of adults and mature after the fusion of bones the strain and shocks will be on the knee and it may give rise to trouble in knee so it is better to avoid.Instead you can do jogging;swimming if you know;brisk walking on road and even on a treadmill.If at all you want to do it please get help from a trainer of physical exercise and get assessed your fitness before to avoid problems.

Hello Doctor, First of all, thanks so much for this great service offered by all you doctors and this website. I am 32 years, mother of a 5 year old son and working in an MNC. After around 15 years of life, have decided to start of with a few stretching excercises along with rope skipping everyday morning just to gain some normal health benefits. My question to you is on the rope skipping that i am doing from a month now with just a count of 100 to begin with, will this have any impact on my uterus(also to mention that my monthly cycles are regular till date, thanks to god :)), as i have heard lot of elders advice that after the age of 30, females should not do witht he rope skipping excercise.
My mother is having sciatica pain. Doctor gave her 2 shots already but although its better, still has some pain. What type of exercises should she be doing to help it along. She is 81 years old and in fairly good health, other than this pain which is causing her to walk less.
Is there any problem doing exercise in gym after mastrrbation.
