Is Sharp Pain In Shoulder, Groin And Lower Leg With Low Grade Fever A Cause For Concern?

Hello. I am experiencing sharp joint pain along with ache all over. I feel warm to the touch. I don t have a thermometer sorry. I have a sore throat and post nasal drip. Do not have a cough. Should I go to Er. Or set up appointment with my primary. Should I be overly concerned about the sharp pains in my shoulder and groin and lower leg?

Welcome to health care magic,
Share pain over body with sore throat could be because of upper respiratory infection which migjt be viral infection or bacterial infection but it needs to be evaluated further to diagnose the cause.

You may require complete blood count,ESR,urinalysis and some specific tests like SGPT and creatinine.

You can take antipyretics (paracetamol) with analgesics (diclofenac),antihistamines with plenty of fluids orally available over the counter.

If specific infection can be found then appropriate antibiotics can be started.

So,in my advice you should see some local or GP who will investigate you and start the treatment.
