Is Orofer Xt And Anofer Xt Same Medicines?
Hi, is orofer Xt and anofer Xt , 2 different kinds of medicine ? My doc has written anofer Xt in my prescription but I get orofer Xt from the chemist shop. And I am taking it from past 2 months. Is it safe to take orofer Xt or should I look for anofer Xt ? Please answer my query.

Hi,
Both Orofer xt and Anofer xt contains iron. Any of the two drugs can be taken. Both are iron tablets and can be used in anemia treatment. Only difference is Anofer xt contains iron, folic acid and many other vitamins where as Orofer xt contains only iron and folic acid.
