Hi , You were suffering from anemia for which doctor prescribed ferous sulphate and it usually takes 1-2 for action . Now the cause of anaemia must be diagnosed and in your case it is due to some chronic condition like blood loss from haemorrhoid , ulcers , worm infestation , gastritis , drugs(NSAID ), infection , poor diet (iron n vitamins), in female- menorrhagia ,DUB, child birth .......etc. So u need to review with a physcian and get thorough examination investigation including complete blood count , total count , differential count , and according to the diagnosis made treated should be directed upon the cause . Till then take iron-rich foods, such as dark-green leafy vegetables, artichokes, apricots, beans, lentils, chick peas, soybeans, meat, nuts, prunes, and raisins ; avoid self medication like NSAID .
