Is Oral Sex More Risky For The Receptive Partner In Case Of STDs?

I know oral sex is more risky for the receptive partner (the one performing oral sex) with regards to HIV. Is oral sex more risky for the receptive partner with regard to other STDs like syphilis, gonorrhea, HPV, herpes, genital warts (HPV), chlamydia, intestinal parasites, and hepatitis A?

Are women considered at higher risk for STD's in oral sex than men?

Thanks,

Thank you for query.receptive sex is more prone or susceptible to infections and stds as there are chances for coming in contact with organisms and secretions for a long time and also the surface area exposed is also more.so if there are more abrasions or ulcers more chances of getting any stds is high.all mentioned can get transmitted through oral route and higher in receptive partners.i would rate women having oral sex with men have lesser chances than vice versa though not well established. You can get back directly to me for any clarifications with the photos and details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
