Is Oral Cancer Causing Swelling Between My Collarbone And Neck?

I have swelling in the space between my collar bone and the base of my neck only on the right side. It is soft, but has not gone away for several months. I thought it might have been fat, but am now worried that it could be a sign of oral cancer. Also, my dad has lymphocytic leukemia. Is this a typical area that an oral cancer lump would appear?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Oral cancer is mostly squamous cell type. Lump can be metastatic squamous cell carcinoma. Or it can be lymphoma, some soft tissue tumour or lymphnode enlargement also. you should go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you.
