Is Nerve Pills Not Advisable?

I was seeing a dr. years he had me taking 1mg klonopin for many years.Then he retired and quit giving anything to his regular patients . We have seeing another doctor.Until I go to a psychiatrist..but it was a bad day because she would that she not write me anymore nerve pills until I did go is that fair?/

It is reasonable for a doctor to be comfortable about what was being done by the previous doctor before continuing with it. Otherwise you may simply be making the mistakes of the previous doctor for which you would be held responsible. Taking full responsibility by making the right decisions through the right procedure is the way to go. Please, see the psychiatrist for an update of your medical records so that you can continue receiving the same drugs if they still judge it to be necessary.
