Is Massage Advisable While Having Blocked Arteries And Stents Fitted?
Hello, I m a massage therapist and one of my clients had a heart attack a couple of weeks ago, it was a mild one I think but two of his arteries were completely blocked and he has had stents fitted, he is also on statins. He is booked in for a massage with me on Saturday, do you think this would be ok?

any massage externally on the chest which may not cause him chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or decrease his effort tolerance can be followed.
statins in most of the patients cause generalised muscle weakness.
until the patient feels relaxed , stress free & tolerating,
you can go ahead, it is fine
