Is It To Be Concerned About The Swelling In The Stitches After Surgery?

Dear Sir , I have undergone a pyloplasty surgery of my left renal pelvis ureter near left kidney since last 23 days through an eft abdominal cut of about 6 inches , Now I observed a visible swelling at about one inch above from the stiches (cut area). I want to know why it is so.
