Is It To Be Concerned About Runny Nose And Cough In Child?
hi my 2 year old has a runnny nose (clear snot),a barky cough and it sounds like a slight whease when he breaths in.He is also lost his appitite and dosent really want to drink milk also very irritable should i take him to emergancy,is this croup or whooping cough.(there is no Whooping)sound that i can hear.

Hi... By what you quote it seems that your child has a wheezing episode. In wheezing episodes, child needs to be given nebulisation along with cough syrup and antibiotic like amoxyclav. I suggest you to go to er and get your child examined as if these is a wheezing episode then Nebulisation is necessary.
