Is It Still Contagious 24 Hrs After The Symptoms Of Strep Throat Has Gone?

My 9 year old was diagnosed with strep throat and started on amoxicillin she had one dose last pm 5 30 pm and 2 doses today. No fever, no sore throat, active today and eating. (her symptoms yesterday were abdominal pain and vomiting) been over 24 hrs since vomiting. is she safe to be around others or still contagious?

Hi. IF the symptoms have subsided and the child is playing well, this indicates the antibiotics are working well. May be she is not infectious now. Secondly only those on a lower immunity scale may get infected. Let her play
