Is It Serious To Have A Puffy Ring On My Leg When Diagnosed With Spider And Varicose Veins?
Almost halfway up my left leg, there seem to be a puffy ring most of the times. I have spider and varicose veins and i sit at my desk most of the times when am at work. This has been happening for quite a few years now but i notice that it doesn't hurt, neither is it noticeable when i awake in the mornings. Do you think this is a serious health problem ? I am 50 yrs. old now and quite concerned.
Hi, from history it seems that due to varicose vein there might be having some obstruction in vascular supply particularly during day time while sitting there is more obstruction giving rise this problem. There is possibility of having deep vein thrombosis as well. color doppler will give more precise information about your problem. Consult vascular surgeon and get examined. Rule out diabetes as well. Ok and take care.
