Is It Safe To Take Rubired During Pregnancy With Miscarriage History?
Hi, I am from india and i am pregnant... Please note that I had to abort twice before this in May 2009 and in March 2010. First was due to a miscrge and it was hardly a 7 month s pregnancy and second was in the 2nd month because i wasn t ready for it.. now I am pregnant for 7 months and i am feeling perfectly alright. We did sonography in the 4th month and the report was perfectly normal... same was the result for the whole body check-up in the sixth month. I am feeling completely normal and happy but just a bit nervous... doctor has given me RubiRed (Folic Acid) and Uvcal tablets. Are these tabs good for a case like mine?

Hi, I have gone through your question. Rubired is a iron and folic acid supplement and uvcal is calcium tablet. Iron and calcium supplementation is recommended in pregnancy and is given to every pregnant woman. Since there is increased iron and calcium utilisation in the body during pregnancy, hence these supplementation are given.
