My father had a UTI 2 weeks ago and the culture reports showed up citrobacter diversus as the yield. he was prescribed oryflaxin for 14 days. Another report taken at the end of this period, showed no signs of infection in Urine Routine report, but the culture report showed E-coli. The two tests done on the same day showed different results. The doctor initially did not want to prescribe any medication as the urine routine report showed no infection, but has subsequently prescribed NIFTAS 100mg, at night for 2 weeks. Could the reprots be correct? Suppose my father who is 76 and previous history of UTI has no infection currently, would NIFTAS cause any problem. His creatine has been at 1.4 after the first infection
