Hi, It is not safe to take these two medications together. Since these medications are known to cause central nervous system depression when used alone hence if taken together there will be an increased risk of developing serious side effects such as difficulty in breathing, respiratory distress, coma, and even death. Ask your doctor to prescribe alternatives that do not interact, or you may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use both medications. Take care.
