Dietitian & Nutritionist 's  Response

Hello,

Thank you for posting your question.
The HCG diet is a very low calorie diet that does not provide the body with sufficient amounts of essential micronutrients like vitamins, minerals and trace elements. This might cause a range of side effects including heart issues like arrhythmias or palpitations, hair loss/thinning, constipation, headaches, dizziness, leg cramps, fatigue and sensitivity to cold. There is no solid evidence that the HCG diet works in long term and the Food and Drug Administration has advised consumers to steer clear of this risky diet.
I would advice you to follow a diet low in carbohydrates and free from sugar and fried foods or visit a dietitian for a weight loss diet plan.

Best wishes
