There are many different procedures that can put your bladder back into place. Exactly which procedure is right for you depends on many different factors, and you need to discuss with your doctor which one he/she plans on doing and why he/she chose that particular procedure for you. None of the procedures can be done by laser, but some can be done laparoscopically, which means by putting tiny instruments into your abdomen through tiny incisions. However, most of these procedures are done vaginally, through incisions in your vagina. Occasionally they need to use a graft or other material to help with the repair. In general the recovery time is around six weeks, although the most significant pain is over after the first few days. It is extremely important that you have this discussion with your doctor, because every procedure is different. I hope this answers your question, please let me know if you have any more questions.
