Is It Safe To Go Along With This Pregnancy?

Hi, My LMP is 12 th April and had a folicular study before conceiving.My pregnancy should be 8 weeks 1 day.We had our us yesterday and the foetus measures 6 weeks only. Fetal pole is faintly seen and a us is asked to be repeated aftr 2 weeks.How positive can i be with this pregnancy

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Wait for the next ultrasound and see if there is an improvement, normally 2 following ultrasounds help in predicting the future of the fetus. If the fetal age does not tally with the geststional age even after that, I would recommend a triple marker test to help decide whether or not to continue with this pregnancy. For now, we cannot really say anything but try to be optimistic.
