Is It Common To Have Metallic Taste In The Mouth And Difficulty With Speech And Vision After Stroke ?
My mother is 73 and had a "mini" stroke 3 months ago. The only medication she takes is for low thyroid. Since the stroke, she has been tired and has some difficulty with her speech and vision. But, the most challenging problem has been the metallic taste she has most of the time. Occasionally, the taste will be gone for a few hours but most of the time it is a problem. She has lost some weight and seems somewhat depressed due to the taste in her mouth. Any help will be appreciated.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the metallic test could be due to the other reason but of course not because of the stroke, however some medicine can cause the metallic test, some time the stomatitis could be the cause of this symptoms, but this will go away soon no medicine is required for this, take care of your mother good day.
