Hi im dr.hema physiotherapist.
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand your cocern.
Yes insole helps
flat foot.
And you can continue with sports , take care during hectic steps.
If the severity is more and pain is increasing even after precautions please have an reassessment with orthopaedic dr and finding the cause helps.
1.Calf stretching is an important part of treatment, as a tight calf tends to pronate the foot more.strech your calf 10 to 15 times per day, hold the stretch for 10 seconds.
2. Use of insole.these usually contain a heel wedge to correct
deformity, and prevent progression.but without correcting heel cord contracture that is calf tightness can make symptoms worse.
3.Wear shoes with low heels and wide toes.
4.lose weight if appropriate.
5.do exercises to strengthen foot muscles - walking barefoot (if appropriate), toe curls (flexing toes) and heel raises.
6.you can use ice
massage in
stress amd pain to heel.
Hope the answer is useful.
