Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1)Do continue medication as per your neuro Doctor's advice and should not be stopped at all but dose can be reduced. It has no connection with hairloss.

2)Do take any multivitamin for hairloss and check his TSH level of blood.

Follow few lifestyle modifications like this -

1)Try to eat a nutritionally balanced diet.

2)Try to avoid tight hairstyles, compulsively twisting, rubbing or pulling hair.

3)Treat your hair gently when washing and brushing. A wide-toothed comb may help prevent pulling out hair.

4)Try to avoid harsh treatments such as hot rollers, curling irons, hot oil treatments and permanents.

5)Do take control of alcohol, smoking, lack of sleep and stress for epilepsy along with medications regularly.

Hope that helps
