Is Gestational Diabetes Likely To Pose Threat?

i have gestational diabetes but I have been managing my numbers well, testing my glucose levels every day 4x per week. The only thing is my am numbers when I first get up (before breakfast) is still averaging between 102 and 117; its not below or at 95. Could you please tell me why this might be?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The elevated fasting readings would reflect either on your diet the evening priorr or inadequate mediation in the evenings.

One or both of these would need to be changed to optimise your control.

You should consider speaking to a nutritionist for advice about any helpful dietary changes.

I hope this helps
