Would you recommend a frenuloplasty for a 9 year old boy who has a slightly tight frenulum? He is able to produce all articulation sounds correctly and has no obvious speech errors when speaking. He has fair/good range of motion in his tongue. He is able to protrude tongue past teeth, but when he tries to really push tongue out straight, his tongue bows down slightly. He is able to elevate tongue upward toward nose and is able to lateralize. He has no difficulty eating.
