Is Follicular Conjunctivitis Potentially Contagious?
just learned I hav follicular conjunctivitis. dr prescribed eye drops but did not mention how to avoid re-infecting hangs e.g., eye makeup...s gloves....but I'm still concerned. There are horror stories out there about separating ones laundry, e.g. Is everything I touch potentially contagious?
Hello Follicular conjunctivitis is usually viral infection. Like all other types of conjunctivitis the infection spreads by close contact, using of same to eels or kerchiefs. Hence people coming in close contact with the infected person can use prophylactic eye drops and use of same towel, bed sheet, kerchief should be avoided. The infectious stage lies for 3-5 days. Thank you
