Is Extreme Diaphoresis In A Smoker A Cause For Concern?

My spouse had a triple stent repair , is a smoker and has been most of his life. 65 yrs. old. He is continuing to smoke. He is having diarphoresis frequently and basically has and still does live an unhealthy lifetyle. What is the diaphoresis a sign of????
