Is Deep Cleaning Of My Ear Causing A Burning Sensation In It Or Is It Due To Ear Wax Build Up?

I constantly clean my ear with a qtip and I think I may have gone too deep a couple of months ago. Everyday, I experience severe tinnitus and burning in the ear, accompanied by the feeling of a wet ear, hence why I continue to rely on the qtip. I've also noticed that it sounds 'muddy' in the right ear, when compared to my left.

Should I seek medical assistence, or is there a possibility that this due to excessive buildup of deep earwax?
