Is Constant Mild Pain In Back With Severe Burning Shooting Pain In Hip And Buttock After Fall On Ice Concerning?

I slipped and fell on the ice extremely hard two days ago. I can get in to a comfortable position but i get in some positions where the pain is almost unbearable. I am somewhat better but I have constant mild pain and can get in some positions where I have a severe burning shooting pain in my hip and down through my left buttock. The point of impact was not in the spine area. More just above the belt line on my right side. I haven t had an xray. Do I need one.
