I woke up at home and my husband handed me a new prescription for Clindamycin 150 I am allergic penecillin drugs, sulfa, cephalosporins and caffine based drugs.The Clindamycin looks familiar to one I had trouble with in February. Clindamycin is not a penicillan, sulfa, cephalosporin nor caffeine. It does not have those in it. Any drug may have side effects and antibiotics will kill off the normal bacteria in the gut and vagina with growth of yeast and harmful bacteria possible. One should never ever take medications that are not overseen by a doctor.
