Is Chemical Peel Or Hyper Pigmentation Helpful In Lightening Hyperpigmentation?

I am suffering from lichen planus pigmentosus (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation)on my face, neck and torso for past 1 year. I have used hydroquinine %% and kojic acid with no change at all. Will a chemical peel or laser therapy be helpful in lightening this hyperpigmentation at all?

20% to 50% glycolicacid peel monthly for 3-4 months, should help to reduce /lighten the pigmentation-may not remove the full pigmentation.Vitamin C creams also will be useful.
