Is Cerelac Enough For Daily Nutrient Requirement During Pregnancy?

Hello Doctor, I am 25 weeks pregnant and can´t keep down my folic acid tablets, in other words they make me nauseous. I enjoy eating Cerelac by Nestlé ( a bowl a day) for the taste and because it has the nutrients I require. My question whether or not it is enough for my daily requirements? Thank you

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion cerealac is nutritious but not enough for pregnancy. You need to take iron and calcium tablet once a day in order to prevent the anaemia.Include fresh fruits and veggies ,green leafy veggies, egg, milk, fish and meat. They provide essential nutrients.Green leafy veggies contain folic acid and iron.Have adequate fluids upto 2 litres to prevent infection.
