Is Bruising On My Leg Post MRI Indicative Of Something Serious?
I just had a recent MRI for back and leg pain, revealing spondylosis and disc degeneration at L4/
l5 and the lunbosacral joint. I now have extreme pain and what looks lke vrusing on my back. Is the brusing a sign of something more serious or a possible ER trip?
There is degeneration of lumbar spine disc between L 4 and L 5. This is resulting in the disc herniating between the bones. The nerve roots pass through these neural foramina and you might have severe nerve root compression at that level. The nerve pain may be controlled with restricted physical activity and pain relief medication. Please do not do heavy physical activity till you are comfortable. Severe pain may need a doctors consultation.
