Is A Uterine Fibroid A Matter Of Concern?

hi I went for a pelvic ultrasound because I have been bleeding for 4 weeks they found a fibroid I am so tired and have no energy what so ever am I over reacting to this they also couldn't find my ovaries in the internal ultrasound but managed to find them later In the normal ultrasound I am very concerned

The uterine fibroid is a non-cancerous tumour found in the smooth muscles in the uterus. It is of concern because it causes pain, frequent urination & excessive menstrual bleeding that can get irregular, inability to get pregnant.

Get examined & evaluated by a gynaecologist, antihormonal medication(mifepristone), Danocrine (Danazol), GnRH agonists, can control bleeding. Get treated before it complicates to cancer.

If your family is complete it is better to have hysterectomy done.
