Is Plan-B Pill Effective In Preventing Pregnancy Even When It Is Taken After Ovulation?
Hi I took plan b one step on Sunday Feb 12 after unprotected intercourse and I wasn’t sure if I was ovulating or not but I took it right away after we finished anyway and was wondering if it’s still effective even if you’ve already ovulated or were ovulating?

Ovulation is essential for conception. It works by postponing ovulation. So if the ovulation has occurred and there is conception. The plan B taken after that can not terminate the pregnancy. But if plan B is taken after conception, the pregnancy needs to be terminated. In order to avoid fetal abnormality caused by the plan B.
