Is Amoxicillin Advised For Tenderness Above The Penis?
I have a slight tenderness just above the penis and slightly off to the left more in the pubic area. I had been diagnosed with diverticulosis several years ago and had a flare up of diverticulitis a few years ago. The tenderness is sort of in the same area as it was when I had the Diverticulitis. This time I do not have fever or feel sick but I do have stomach growling and rumbling, lots of gas. I am wondering if this is a mild case of diverticulitis again or does it sound like something more with the genital organs although I have no issues with urinating nor burning or any soreness in or around the penis area just the tenderness to the touch when I press slightly on the pubic area.. If it does sound like a mild case of diverticulitis, I have some Amoxicillin on hand would it hurt to take those if there is a minor infection? Thank You.
