Irregular Periods, Not Pregnant, No Pain. Reason And Cure?

Hello, I am 23 years old. Last time I had periods was june 10 to 15. Then around july 11 I had spotting for two days. No bleeding at all in august and September. Now it is october 1! One doctor told me to take 2 penorit tablets in the morning and 2 at night for one day only. I took that too but it s been a week since that. I am definitely not pregnant. And don t have any abdominal pain or discharge. What do u suggest? Should I try any other medicine?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The decrease in the amount of bleeding and overdue periods is likely to be due to a hormonal disturbance like thyroid hormone imbalance, increased prolactin levels or metabolic disorders like polycystic ovaries. A complete hormonal profile needs to be assessed for diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
