Irregular Periods, Fatigue, Urge For Urination, Blood In Urine. Symptoms Of Pregnancy Or Urinary Bladder Infection?

I am needing to find out if I have a bladder infection or if I am pregnant here are my symptoms: Very irregular period last one was jan 4. Last few weeks I have noticed I have been very tired no matter how long I sleep. I was crampy and irritable for a few days. After I urinate (as soon as I am done) it feels like I have to pee really bad ( that tingly feeling) if I force myself to pee more nothing happens but when I wipe sometimes I see a very light pink blood . I have symptoms of both so how do I tell the difference I haven t take a test because I think it would be too early.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have described are more likely to be due to a vaginal infection and urinary tract infection. Pregnancy is unlikely but it needs to be ruled out after a urine test. Vaginal swab culture and routine urine examination is also indicated.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Rakhi-Tayal

Hi,
You seem to be suffering from urethritis; your symptoms suggest this, so get urinalysis and see a doctor. You can simultaneously get a pregnancy test also. Urinary infections can cause irregular periods but the cause should be diagnosed after a complete evaluation including hormonal profiles, physical examination, sonogram and so on. You may need a urinary antibiotic and a urinary anti-spasmodic. Drink plenty of fluids. Take care.
