Inflammation In Throat, Sudden Pain In Ear. Could This Be Due To Reflux ?
I have what I assume is inflammation in my throat (feels closed up). I don't think it's my vocal folds because I have no hoarseness. I occasionally have pain in my right ear that is sudden and painful but not continuous. I have been told I may have reflux but do not feel any reflux or have any heartburn etc. I have been on reflux medicine and feel it's not making any difference
think to be mild sinus allergies as in every episode you get post nasal drip which blockes eustachian tubes of ears leading t pain get diagnosis by x ray pns waters view and reat sinuses in consultation with doctor for episodes add doxycycline 100 mg bd for 5 days to clear infection if any antiallergic tab bd for 14 days medicines for reflux you are taking already apply neomycin h ointment in nose bd sea water 2 drops at night each nose to clear ear and tubes analgesic tab sos for ear pain
