Infected Cyst On Leg, Redness Around Cyst. Prescribed Flucloxacillin. Cyst Enlarged. Medication Not Working?

I went to the doctors on Tuesday morning with an infected cyst on my leg. It was red about 1 inch round the cyst. He prescribed me flucloxacillin which I have now finished 3 days off. I am now in agony and am struggling to put my socks on. The cyst has now enlarged to about 3 times the size and the redness around it has spread to about 7-8 inches. Should I go back to the doctor or is it too early for my antibiotics to be working? The cyst is on my upper thigh.

Hi,
It seems that now pus is formed giving rise to redness and induration.
i think it is to be excised with sac.
After excision go for regular dressing and continue antibiotic.
Take anti-inflammatory medicine.
Ok and take care.
