Infant With Sores In The Mouth, Swollen Gum. Need To Get Checked?

Yes I have a question my son 13 months went to the docotor on friday said he got a virus that cause him to have sore on his mouth they check his hands and feet but everything else is ok but the sores in his mouth now his gum are swollen and he been having bad breathe so I tryed to brush his theeth and it has brown around the gum on the corner of his tooth.Should I take him back to the doctor he told me there is no medicine for this virus

Thanks for asking the query,

As your child is 13 months old, there will be erruption of the milk teeth, it is very necessary to maintain a good oral and general health of the child.
Sores can be because of viral infection. I would suggest you to take your child specialist and get the checkup done.
Maintain a good oral hygiene.
Use lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
