Hi. I am a 40 year old mother of 4 and have just received abnormal pap smear results, possible high grade. It has been recommended that I get a colposcopy. I am concerned as I have never had abnormal results before. I have to go to hospital for this procedure. If they take a biopsy of the area, does this require an anaesthetic?

I was recently diagnosed with dysplasia after finding out I had an abnormal pap smear....About a year ago, I started showing traces of blood in my urine. I was wondering if the two are related. Also, what are my options for the abnormal pap smear. Is surgery really necessary?

I am 55 years old, have had early stage breast cancer, oncotype of 8, was on tamoxifen for 3 1/2 years and arimidex for 2 months. Many side effects from arimidex. Stopped taking the medication, had spotting, went for pap and had an abnormal pap. Atypical glandular cells non specific. Does this mean cancer?
