I hsve been having trouble with my bowels. What can be the causes?

For the past 3weeks I hsve been having trouble with my bowels. At first laxitives where helping now they dont. I use to be able to push and then it felt normal even though it was painful even though there was no rectal bleeding . Now when I feel like I have to go I make an attempt and start pushing andits very painful on the left side of my anal. I jus recently tried an enema and it started burning as soon as it hit tge left side. Like alcohol on an open womb . Is that normal or should I go to the er. Im only 23 female and im always eating fiber but I keep having this issue. What can be the causes?

improve your diet.have atleast 4 litres of water a day.You can try homeopathy for this complaints if now laxatives are not working out.You may get examind once by doctor by fissure , if that is noticed you need to take the respective care.Try Annovate ointment for local application on anal opening.Take lukewarm water seat baths.

Hi !
Welcome to Healthcare Magic
In spite of taking regular fibreS in your diet still you are having constipation then you need to bring certain changes in your routine diet like as incresing water intake upto 14 glasses of water per day, avoid eating spicy foods, junk foods, maida based preparations.Do regular Yoga exercises. Sraining while passing stool in constipated condition develops cracks in the anal passage called as fissures. For temporary relief you can apply Xylocaine jelly locally and take TABLET Y- LAX , 2 tab. at bed time with luke warm water for constipation . Consult a general surgeon for anal check upand further guidence.

Hope you will be fine soon.
Thanks and take care.
