I have low Iron and blood count

I have just come out of hospital with dangerously low iron and blood count. I was given daily iron via I.V. for two weeks. Anyone know how I can keep the levels up? (I was feeling really really weak) am feeling a bit stronger daily). I also have diabetes

You need to eat a good balanced diet with iron and protien rich foods. If the levels are still low, then they would have prescribed you medications to continue. Do not stop taking medications on your own. Go for regular follow ups. Keep your sugars under control.
