It looks as if it is splitting down the middle of my crack. I'm really embarrassed of this. It looks like it is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch long. It has never hurt whatsoever. The only thing that makes it hurt is if I look at because i'm scared out of my mind of this thing , But it bleeds not all the time it comes and goes, It's also not a lot of bleeding. There's no discharge other than the blood. Is there a way I can diagnose what it is myself? And if so how could I figure out a treatment?

go for regular check up to ur doc. it must be a fistula/pillonadal sinus/ follicle..
not to worry it may be a general infection too..without going to ur doc how we told u that what is the exact thing? and what is the line of treatment..may be a small surgery and rest for 2-3 days..
