I Am Planning To Have A Gastric Bypass Operation

I need to lose 42kg according to my dietitian . I love my food and eat way too much. It comforts me. I am very tall, so you don t really see the weight, but now it is getting bad. I do not have clothes to wear. I am excited and scared to go through with it. I know that I can do this. What do you think? Any other bypass patients there?

I had my gastric-by-pass 7 years ago and would do it again if I had to. You will have to learn to watch what you eat for a while and learn not to eat to much. One thing that will help is to start now cutting back and getting some walking in for excises. I lost over one hundred pounds and feel great. I am now working and doing things that I could not do before my surgery. Good luck and God bless
