I consulted a neurologist he prescribed to have Amitriptyline Hydrochloride starting from 10 MG, now I am taking 100 MG, but headache continues to appear once in a week. By taking this medicine I started getting side affects like acidity constupation. Now I am really worried, should I continue or should I switch the doctor ? Read up CLUSTER HEADACHE on the net maybe on Weikepedia and see if you suffer from that ordeal if you do. Please tell your neurologist or change to one who specialises in Headaches.

All the Best.

hello, according to what you have described you have vascular headache or migraine headache for which regular lifestyle is important that is timely food, good sleep and avoiding some food items like cocoa, cheese ,chinese food, colouring masala, nuts.
avoid starvation, hot sun ,noise and cold. i think that the tablet you are taking is not working for consult the doctor and try some other medicine which will help you. dont worry vascular headache is curable.

Amitryptyline is given for migraine headache, rebound headache. If your headache is not coming down you need to see your neurologist again. You can ask for medications to ease your acidity.

Hi, I am 21 years old and I have been getting this really uncomfortable crunching in the back of my head when I turn my head side to side, then there is usually some pain to follow. I also get a weird grind like feeling when I tilt my head to look up and it hurts after that aswell, (sometimes as it happends), then I feel a little dizzy and off balanced. I also get a fair amount of pressure in my head which is relativley painfull. I would also like to add that my mother has osteoarthritis, fibromyelga, and degeneritive discs. So i am wondering if any of those are hereditary because she has had some of the same symptoms.

A friend had psoriasis for over 20 years. Shje is now 57 years of age. 12 years ago she began to suffer from arthritis. Doctors merely said it was psoriatic arthritis. Over the last two years her kidney became diseased (stage 4). It was then that a doctor said she was most probably suffering from yeast/fungal infection. I was wondering if she could be treated for the yeast/fungal infection by way of starvation with saline drip and antifungal. Of course if this is possible it will be done in a hospital. Once the yeast infection is cleared, the kidney disease could be addressed. Your views under no obligation or lialibility please.
