i am a 33 yr old mother of a 4 yr old.i have been a hypothyroid patient for the last 17 yrs.my tsh level a month back was .01 with 100mcg eltroxin .has reduced the dosage to .75mcg.now my tsh shows 6,and there has been a steady weight gain .there has been no significant weight loss since alteration of dosage and follow a very active life.
oh my dear madam. I am quite sure u were very comfortable when u were on 100 mcg of eltroxin. what many people don't know is that thyroid is managed both by clinical symptoms and blood tests. so I suggest u go back to 10 mcg. take care. don't get driven by TSH alone. Look at ur free T3, free T4 levels if they r in normal range then don't be bothered at all. God Bless You Madam
