How Would The Medicines L-Theanine And GABA React With Melatonin And Lorazepam?
I take 1 mg Lorazepam at night. My doctor recommended taking 3 mg melatonin in addition as my sleep remains very light and I wake up not feeling like I ve slept much even though I m getting on the average of 6 -7 hours per night (with frequent waking). I found an OTC product which contains 25 mg L-Theanine and 25 mg GABA in addition to the 3 mg melatonin. It also contains 8.5 mg Chamomile & Valerian extract. Do I need to be concerned about any drug interactions? Thank you

HELLO, U NEED TO INITIATE TREATMENT WITH LORAZEPAM AND MELATONIN ALONE. IF THIS DOESNT IMPROVE THEN YOU CAN ADD GABAPENTIN . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ADDING GABAPENTIN INITIALLY AS THIS WOULD CAUSE INCREASED SOMNULENCE ATAXIA AND DIZZINESS. THANX
