How To Wean Off Norco 10/325 Slowly Without Any Side Effects?

Im a 28yr old, 4 10 , 110lb woman and Ive been on norico 10/325 3 to 4 times a day for 2yrs now and i dont want to take them anymore. Im a single mother with a very active 2yr old and 8yr old. So i cant go into a inpatient program and i need to be at the top of my game so i can keep up with them, what can i do to make coming off them easier for myself and my children and how long will the withdrawal symptoms last? I was told about meathadone clinics but unsure about going to one of them, i dont want to trade one addiction for another.

Hi,

I appreciate your sentiment of not wanting to trade one addiction for another. It makes good sense. If you stop Norco abruptly, you are going to have a difficult time for a week to 10 days. Taking over the counter medicines like paracetamol will help. You can also try to taper it off gradually but it will take months.

Best wishes.
