I had a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound done yesterday showed my ovary had grown and i have white spots i have had a hysterectomy still have my ovaries what could that mean and im 51they said i have alot of white spots and are referring me to a oncologist gyn

Hi,

I think that you first thing that you should do is a CA 125. test. If the test reports are normal, a conservative management will be required. Otherwise, if your CA 125 level is high, I would suggest that you go for a laparotomy to remove your ovaries.
