How To Treat Swelling And Red Spots On Calf Resulting From ACL Reconstruction Surgery?

Husband had ACL reconstruction surgery afterwards developed blot clots surgey done in June 2013. He is in Pt and is supposedly doing ok. Now he has starting swelling more and has developed red spots on his calf they look like bug bites but are not. They also are only on leg that had surgery

I do not think it is related to that surgery. I have done thousand ACl reconstruction but never seen such complication. I would suggest you to show him to doctor and rule out DVT. Also take Brufen tablet for time being.

I do not think it is related to that surgery. I have done thousand ACl reconstruction but never seen such complication. I would suggest you to show him to doctor and rule out DVT. Also take Brufen tablet for time being.
